North American Case Research Association (NACRA) 2007 Annual Meeting

image courtesy of Vail ResortsWhether you’re a seasoned case researcher, writer, or teacher -- or a novice to the area of case research -- you’ll benefit from attending NACRA’s 2007 Annual Meeting.

The conference program and schedule are now available!

There will be roundtable discussions of over 100 new case studies and informative presentations including:

  • The Curse of Comfort: Breaking Out of a Case Writing Style. William Ellet, author of The Case Study Handbook will challenge the group to experiment.
  • Integrating case studies into innovative curricular designs. (e.g., multi-media cases; simulations, and other new pedagogic approaches to blending cases and problem-based learning with theory, concepts and lecture material, including online delivery and filmic treatments)
  • Can’t Miss Cases. Veterans from a variety of disciplines will share their favorite cases -- why they work and how they work.
  • New research topics and trends in case research. Several stimulated by competitive research grants.
  • Newcomers’ Session. Learn how to write and publish case research.
  • Embryo Cases can be submitted through September 10th. Authors will receive individualized feedback in a coaching session with experts.
  • Recognition of the best new work with a full slate of NACRA awards.

High Altitude

Altitude sickness can be real and the best preventative is to drink lots of water before and during the trip. Bring headache / nausea remedies, just in case. Dry eyes will degrade your vision, bring eye drops and sunglasses!
